Media Team
Khun Minn Ohn
Khun received his B.A. in Philosophy and Cinema & Media Studies from Gettysburg College in 2019, and is now a Multimedia Producer at the College of William & Mary in Virginia. He is a documentary filmmaker and photographer. He manages the 3.50CARES website and assists the 3.50CARES team with media efforts and communications.
Prep Team
Jules
Jules is currently a junior at UCLA studying jazz trumpet performance and music. In his spare time, he provides online trumpet lessons and performs weekly online DJ sets to help spread good vibes. Jules chose to volunteer with 3.50CARES because he wants to provide people in need with care and support through these tough times.
Fatima
Fatima is working towards her associate’s degree in computer information systems while working as a sales associate. She enjoys cooking in her spare time for family and friends. Fatima joined 3.50CARES to share her cooking with the whole community.
Jeffrey
Jeffrey is a graduate of the Cascade Culinary Institute and has previously worked for 3 years at Pine Tavern in Bend, Oregon under the influence of Bill McCormick of the McCormick and Schmick corporation. Currently, he is working under Michelin-Starred chef, Josiah Citrin, at his restaurant, Costa, in Manhattan Beach, California. Jeffrey joined 3.50CARES to use his talents as a chef to help feed those in need.
Delivery Team
Michael
Michael is a recent graduate of CSULB, receiving his B.S. in Kinesiology and Sports Psychology. Outside of school, he is also a member of our local EMS family, working as an EMT for P.R.N. Ambulance. Ultimately, he aspires to be a doctor and plans to attend medical school next cycle. Michael has decided to join 3.50CARES because it serves as another platform for serving his community and helping those that are being most affected during these times.
Sachin
Sachin received his B.S. in Chemistry from UC Santa Cruz in 2019. He is currently taking Biology Classes at UCLA Extension to prepare himself for Graduate School where he plans to study Biochemistry and Medicine. Sachin volunteers for 3.50CARES because he wants to help make food and health-care supplies more accessible to everyone, especially those who have a hard time getting those things on their own.
Patrick
Patrick is currently a senior at CSULB working towards his bachelors in Business Information System. He is also a board member on the Association for Information Systems and a member of Beta Alpha Psi & Accounting Society. In his free time Patrick likes to enjoy the outdoors and play with dogs. He joined 3.50CARES because he saw it as a great opportunity to both help people in need and help his friends who started the non-profit.
Public Health Outreach
Anushka
Anushka is a junior at Johns Hopkins University majoring in Public Health Studies with a focus on health communications. After graduation, she plans on enrolling in a dual-degree MPH/JD program and pursuing a career in health policy. Outside of school, Anushka works on global communications with the United Nations Foundation and advocates for issues in reproductive health, homelessness, and educational inequality. She chose to volunteer with 3.50CARES to give back to her community and support underserved populations.
